3 TIERED 90 INCH HOOP SKIRT
This pattern is for a 3 tiered 90
inch diameter hoop skirt. These hoops were also known as “Junior” hoops
as this was the first hoop a girl graduated into when they went to long
dresses. This hoop is correct for those under 5’ 2” tall. The slimmer
hoops were worn under certain dresses when you want to have a slim
tailored look. The pattern is shown with a drawstring waistband but
includes instructions for a fitted waistband if preferred.

PETTICOAT-UNDER AND
OVER HOOP
This pattern is for a single ruffled
petticoat. The pattern includes instructions for both under and over the
hoop petticoats. Petticoats were worn over the hoops to prevent the
individual hoops from showing, and under the hoops for warmth. The
pattern utilizes a waistband front and a drawstring back, which helps
reduce the bulk of fabric at your waistline

DRAWERS (PANTALETTES)
This pattern is for Drawers or
pantalettes as they were called. This pattern is for a split -crotch but
the seam can be closed if you choose. As the drawers are worn under
every thing else, the split-crotch makes going to the "necessary" a
whole lot easier. The pattern includes instructions for pintucks and
lace. A pattern for a hand made lace edging is included. A special
feature of the pattern is its' method of sewing pintucks, which keeps
both sides symmetrical. The pattern is for a drawstring waistband but
optional fitted band instructions are included.

CORSET COVER / CAMASOL
This pattern gives you a corset cover using two methods
of construction. Style A uses a simple casing and drawstring at the
neckline similar to those seen here. The drawstring allows you to fit
the neckline to your body. Style B uses a round of beading eyelet and
ribbon instead of the casing. Again it allows you to adjust the
neckline to suit your body. Either style can be made with or without
sleeves depending on your personal preference, the desired use of your
cover and the Era you wish to portray. Both use a drawstring at the
waistline for additional fitting, instead of darts.

CORDED PETTICOAT
If you don’t want a hoop skirt, but do want the shape of
the Era, this petticoat is for you. Prior to the invention of the
hoopskirt, corded petticoats were worn in combination with multi-layers
of petticoats to provide the silhouette so popular to this Era. The
ADULT corded petticoat has a bottom circumference of just under 90”,
which makes it perfect for camp dresses and any other style of dress
with a narrow hemline. Corded petticoats are great for girls and teens,
as they help to give shape to the dresses without the hassles of the
hoop skirts.
