               This pattern is lots and lots of sleeve options and trim ideas for the perfect ballgown.

          The pattern gives instructions for all the sleeves pictured on the front, plus variations and trim changes for most of them. 

                 Instructions are included to include the sleeve as part of the ballgown bodice construction, or to add the sleeve to a completed bodice.  This is the recommended method as it gives you the option of changing or varying your sleeve without having to reconstruct your whole bodice.

            This pattern was designed as part of the “Ballgown series”.  The aim of this series is to offer good basic patterns and lots of options and ideas to change and update your garments without having to make new dresses for each season.  As discussed in the Basis Ballgown Bodice, if you make  your ballgown in a basic color and style you can utilize patterns like this to change the look of your outfit. Some of the other patterns in this series are: TSB-131 Ballgown Berthas and TSS-205 which is an overskirt pattern designed to top any of the basic skirts.   TSS-206 is a pattern for a skirt with a ruffled underskirt and TSS-207 is a scalloped ballgown skirt pattern.  Any or all of these patterns along with the Basic Ballgown Bodice TSB-130 will give you a wide variety of looks and ideas for your “perfect”  ballgown.
