        The nice feature of this garment is its shape, which gives a shorter area at the arms and allows for freer movement than capes and cloaks, while providing warmth for the front and back. Instructions are included for either a lined or an unlined mantle.  This garment can be made using many trim options including ruffles, fringe, and braid or left plain. Hints and instructions for these trim ideas are included as well as several closure methods.

The mantle is a one-size garment.  It is truly a wonderful versatile garment, great for all but the coldest, mornings and evenings.
