The Gored Skirt

            A skirt pattern for a skirt with a tailored look, but can be softened with the addition of the optional ruffle. This pattern works well for day dresses, tea gown and ballgown bottoms. The skirt uses gored panels and either gathering or pleating at waistband.This pattern does not require as much fabric as standard or gauged skirts. Instructions and information is given for both methods as well as for different hem choices and an optional ruffle.             This pattern includes sizing for all waistlines and 90, 120, and 160 inch hoop sizes, a truly adjustable pattern.
