The Gauged Skirt

A basic skirt pattern that can be used for everything from a camp skirt to a ballgown bottom. The skirt is designed to be pleated in the front and gauged in the back.  Gauging  (Cartridge pleating) was the method of choice for the Women of the Era to gather the fabric into the waistband.
The waistband utilizes double openings which makes the skirt adjustable for waistline changes. Information is given on skirt lengths and hem choices. This pattern works great with any of the Timeless Stitches Bodice patterns.  Try TSB-100 Fitted Bodice or TSB-101 Gathered Bodice. Sizing:
          This pattern includes sizing for all waistlines and 90, 120, and 160 inch hoop sizes, a truly adjustable pattern.
